Ingredients

Organic pumpkin seed oil: Is a quick absorbing oil rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as antioxidants. It retains moisture, fights free radicals and helps maintain the skin's youthful appearance. The high amounts of zinc and vitamin E improve skin tone, fight acne and help with skin renewal.

Balsam fir resin: Is anti-fungal and contains bacteria fighting virtues. It may be useful for dry, oily and acne prone skin aswell as on itchy flaky scalps. It keeps the skin and beard feeling moisturized and soft. Not to mention its divine smell!

Ingredients: Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin seed oil)*, Helianthus annuus (sunflower seed oil)*, Ribes nigrum (black currant seed oil), Rubus idaeus (red raspberry seed oil), rosemary antioxidant CO2 extract, Abies balsamea (balsam fir resin)*, tocopherol (vitamin E)*.

Usage

How to Use: Apply a few drops of face oil to your fingertips and gently massage into clean, damp skin. Use morning and night for best results. Suitable for all skin types. This oil can also be used in the hair & beard.

I'm not one to write reviews, but this was warranted. This Balsam Fir Facial Oil has been amazing. I'm currently going through chemotherapy and my skin has suffered. I've played the game of "find the moisturizer " and not found anything that helped nourish my skin and repair tge damage. Until now!

The first time I tried this facial oil, I was stunned. It absorbed quickly and my skin didn't feel dry or tight. It lasted through the night so I woke with refreshed looking skin. I'm so grateful I found this product, especially with the company using natural products not filled with chemicals. That is so incredibly important. Thank you Boreal Folk.

Amazing smelling face oil

I love the ritual of massaging oil into my face ever since I started doing it five or so years ago. Before that, I thought my skin was too oily and acne-ridden to apply oil. I was so wrong, and my skin is transformed ever since oiling. I absolutely love the smell of this one, and knowing I’m supporting independent craftspeople with the purchase too.

Wonderful product. I have basically integrated Boreal Folk into all my daily skincare and replaced out other products. The Balsam Fir is a fantastic face oil that actually helps calm skin. I mix it with either fireweed oil or the tallow face oil. So happy to purchase locally made super high quality Canadian products.
